The plate is made of inlay work which is done on the walls and tomb of ShahJahan and Mumtaz Mahal in TAJ MAHAL in Agra,India in the 17th century.
This plate with having mainly Malachite semi-precious stones with geometrical pattern with very little use of other stones.This wonderful inlay work is used for decoration in Taj Mahal and other Mughal Buildings in Agra and other areas where Mughal ruled during 16th and 17th Century. Taj Mahal inlay inspires the modern day craftsmen to produce beautiful handicraft items, this plate being one of those.The inlay work is a marriage of form and material and this plate is an expression of an artist love for the stones and transforming them into living things.The plate is used is ideal for gift purpose because of little work the price is less.
